Born on June 23rd, 1970 in Moldova, USSR, Vitaliy Reutsky started learning music with his mother at age 7. As of 9, he performed in public, as a soloist and orchestral musician, playing the accordion. At 15, he began studying pan flute at the Music College of Tiraspol, Moldova. In parallel, he also studied harmony, orchestration, history of music and arts.
In 1989, Vitaliy obtained a first prize in pan flute and graduated as a music teacher, performer and conductor. The same year, he was also awarded the Prize of the National Competition of Moldova and the second Prize of the USSR Young Performers International Competition.
Following these awards, he was invited to perform in the Odessa Military Brass Band, participating in several tours as an orchestral soloist. He performed in prestigious venues such as the Odessa Opera Theatre and the Yalta Festival. At the Netherlands Military Tattoo festival, in Breda, Her Majesty Queen Beatrix gave him a special prize.
Vitaliy went then to improve his skills at the Conservatory of Moldova, studying with well-known
